It’s Mental Health Awareness Month & this is your reminder:

Taking medication for your mental health is not a failure.

It’s not weakness.
It’s not “giving up.”
It’s not something you should feel ashamed of.

Needing help just means you’re human.
And medication exists for a reason
to support your brain the same way medicine supports any other part of your body.

You wouldn’t shame someone for taking insulin.
You wouldn’t tell someone to “just push through” a broken bone.

So why do we expect that with mental health?

If medication helps you get out of bed,
be more present,
breathe a little easier,
or simply make it through the day

that matters.

That’s not something to hide.
That’s something to be proud of. 🤍
