Hey everyone! We have some exciting news with Chatterboks therapy!
1. We are now accepting Medicare Part B!

2. So that means we can start seeing patients with Parkinson's! I (Abby) would love to help you/your friends/family with your communication needs. I'm certified in LSVT LOUD (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment), an effective treatment program that focuses on increasing vocal loudness to improve clarity of speech-- We can do this in-person for via teletherapy, as well as other treatment options!

June is aphasia awareness month. I had the pleasure of working with these wonderful folks in Florida. It was such an inspiration seeing their motivation and dedication after experiencing such a challenging change in their communication abilities, as well as their eagerness to advocate for others with this language impairment. Hey friends and families! Abby Ross-Kennedy here, introducing myself to the Chatterboks crew. I am so excited to begin working with Kristin and the team and to get to know all of you. As Kristin said, one of my passions and specialties is working with reading fluency and comprehension, but I love working with all populations, including adults! I have a particular passion for helping adults with aphasia (a language disorder most often caused by strokes) and Parkinson's Disease. It’s almost June and we have our newest Chatterboks Speech Therapist, Abby Ross-Kennedy! She is here and ready to schedule new patients!
