Hi everyone! Here is today's message from Spirit.

“Mindfulness is one of the more difficult practices for the human being. Your mind is usually busy entertaining itself with thoughts of the past, the future, of others; on things that could have gone differently, said differently, that went well; on things you should and need to do. This is the ego mind that you’ve allowed to be in control. Can you quit this type of thinking and concentrate on, or observe, the present moment? We encourage you to do this every time you catch yourself in these thought patterns. We encourage you to practice observing your mind then consciously bring your mind back to the present. Train your mind in meditation each day to be quiet and empty. Start with short five-minute meditations then see if you can work up to ten or fifteen, and so on. This is a valuable exercise that will take practice. Don’t allow yourself to become frustrated and quit the practice. Observing your mind is key to breaking habitual thought patterns that get in the way of your happiness. Ask Spirit inside to help you with this. It is important that you gain control over your mind and not allow your mind to have control over you. You are loved always and so it is.” Type yes to confirm.
