The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Tuscaloosa Regional Center serves the needs of individuals and families who are deaf, blind, deafblind, or have other disabilities in the counties of Bibb, Choctaw, Fayette, Greene, Lamar, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa and Hale.
Whether you are a parent with a child recently diagnosed with a hearing or vision loss, a deaf adult or business person needing an interpreter, a blind adult in need of assistive technology, or a senior coping with age-related hearing or vision loss, we can help you find the resources you need. We offer a unique mixture of services, developed according to the needs of the communities we serve.
