We are very excited to welcome Dr. JinWoo Hur to IMA! His focus is adult primary care, with special strengths in disease management, preventive medicine, and procedures performed in the office setting. Dr. Hur is board certified in Family Medicine, graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and completed his residency training through UAB. He also brings additional experience from urgent care and surgical training, giving him a broad and practical background in patient care. Welcome Greg Hamrick, CRNP, to Internal Medicine Associates of Tuscaloosa!

We’re thrilled to announce that Gregory Gene Hamrick, CRNP, has joined our team as the newest provider, effective August 4th, 2025. With over 25 years as a Nurse Practitioner in Tuscaloosa, Greg has specialized in managing cardiac care, serving as Director of Cardiology Services at Whitfield Regional Hospital and collaborating with Cardiologists at Cardiology Consultants, P.C. His extensive experience also includes acute cardiac care at DCH Regional Medical Center. Greg is now accepting new patients and welcomes those he’s served in the past for expert chronic condition management.

Dear IMA Patients,

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Dr. David Call, who left us on Saturday, October 19, 2024, while surrounded by his loved ones. Dr. Call was not only a dedicated physician, but also a cherished member of our community and his loss will be felt profoundly by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Capstone Church. Burial will be private.

For those wishing to express their condolences, it is recommended to send flowers to Magnolia Chapel North, unless it is the day of the service. Flowers may also be sent to the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
