DCH School of Radiologic Technology

DCH School of Radiologic Technology DCH Radiology Program The program is a 24-month, full time program of instruction leading to certification in the Radiology field.

The Radiography program was established in 1955 and continues to enroll and graduate students into the radiography field as entry-level radiographers. The DCH Radiology Program is not a federally funded program; we are a hospital based program. Due to this, we do not have a school code as required for pell grants, etc. However, there are scholarships available once accepted into the program.

Congratulations ladies!! 💕

We are proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of our 2025/2026 DCH Radiologic Technology Program Scholarship recipients, Emily Braswell and Megan Faith Tubbs. In addition, we also congratulate our 2025/2026 Kay Dodson Dockery Scholarship recipients, Lillian Carol Boswell, Kayla Mansfield, and Rachael Payne. Your hard work, dedication, and passion for patient care inspire us all. The Intro to Physics course (PHY 120) will be offered as a
mini-mester course through Bevill. Students have until February 17th to sign up. This is a great opportunity for highly motivated students to complete in a short amount of time. To apply, go to Bevill's website.

Join your local and national society to help pass the licensure law. Stand up for what you have worked so hard to be. You studied your butt off for two or more years to be a REGISTERED Rad Tech and people think they can learn it in a few days. Patients deserve better and should know to ask for a registered radiologic technologist to do their exams.

Most states require a license to cut hair or to fish. These states do not require any education to expose people to ionizing radiation. You deserve a registered radiologic technolgist.
