AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. ACC gives children the ability to expand their language and helps provide them with the functional skills needed to communicate with the world around them. It also allows children to label objects, expand sentences, and interact socially with others.



Thomas is a rising star in AAC. When Thomas started at the clinic he had only a few functional words. With the help of AAC and his speech therapist Thomas is now able to communicate his basic wants and needs, label his favorite toys, and communicate with his family and therapists. Go Thomas!

We had a special visitor at our pediatric clinic in Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago. Maggie and Jacob recently got their service dog from 4 Paws for Ability Ohio State. He has been a great addition to their family!!

The staff at New Hope Therapy would like to send our deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Kyleigh Little after her passing on August 27, 2022. We have had the pleasure of working with Kyleigh and her family over the last few years. She brought joy to everyone around her and we will miss her very much.

Kyleigh Denise Little, age 7, went into the arms of Jesus on August 27, 2022 at Childrens Hospital in Birmingham, AL. A Celebration of Life will be held at 500 pm Wednesday, August 31,2022 at Kennedy Baptist Church with Bro. Jordan Lollar officiating. The family has chosen cremation. Visitation will
