✨🎉 What a way to celebrate the New Year! 🎉✨
Our Capstone Village residents rang in the New Year in style at our New Year’s Eve celebration on 12/31/25. Dressed in their finest party attire, residents enjoyed a delicious meal, a festive champagne toast, and plenty of dancing — all wrapped up before midnight, of course! 😉 It was an evening filled with laughter, elegance, and wonderful memories. Cheers to a bright year ahead! 🥂💃🕺

Last week, Capstone Village was truly alive with the sounds of the season!
The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra Education Quintet visited our community and treated our residents to a wonderful holiday concert. Their performance blended traditional favorites with festive new pieces, creating an atmosphere of warmth, nostalgia, and celebration throughout our halls.

Residents in both Assisted Living and Independent Living enjoyed tapping their toes, humming along, and reminiscing about cherished holiday memories. We are so grateful to the talented musicians who shared their time and artistry with us—moments like these make the holiday season feel extra special. 🎼💙✨

Did you know we have our very own choir at Capstone Village? 🎶✨
Our Capstone Singers are a resident-led choir that practices together and performs several times throughout the year. They recently filled our community with holiday joy during their Christmas Sing Along, sharing beautiful music and festive spirit with fellow residents and guests. We’re so proud of this talented group and the sense of connection they bring through song!

We had the sweetest visitor at Capstone Village last week! Maggie, a 10-year-old Aussie Doodle and her handler, Carol from Hand in Paw, spent time with our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents—bringing calm, comfort, and plenty of smiles.

The sweet smell of the season filled Capstone Village as our residents rolled up their sleeves for gingerbread house making! 🍬🏠 From frosting roofs to candy-covered creativity, this festive activity brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of holiday cheer. Moments like these remind us that the best part of the season is spending it together.

Did you know that Capstone Village has its very own fully equipped woodworking shop? It’s one of the many unique amenities that make our community special—and it’s loved most by residents like Mr. Dave Struthwolf, who has called Capstone Village home for the past 12 years.

Mr. Dave is more active than most of our staff (😉) and the woodworking shop is his happy place. If you’re looking for him, that’s almost always where you’ll find him—crafting new pieces, fixing furniture, and creating things for his fellow residents.

We’re proud to offer spaces where our residents can continue doing what they love, and grateful for talented, energetic community members like Mr. Dave who bring so much heart to the Village. ❤️🪵✨
