➡️ AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

ACC gives children the ability to expand their language and helps provide them with the functional skills needed to communicate with the world around them. It also allows children to label objects, expand sentences, and interact socially with others.

Thomas is a rising star in AAC. When Thomas started at the clinic he had only a few functional words. With the help of AAC and his speech therapist Thomas is now able to communicate his basic wants and needs, label his favorite toys, and communicate with his family and therapists. Go Thomas!🥳
