Did you know that birth trauma can affect infants? 👶🏻 It's more common than many people realize — and it doesn't always look how you might expect. Some common birth experiences that may contribute to spinal stress in newborns include: Long or overly short labor, Use of pain medications, Labor inductions or medications to intensify contractions, Cesarean (C-section) deliveries and Pulling or twisting of the baby's head during delivery.
When this trauma goes unaddressed, it can interfere with spinal development and the healthy function of the nervous system — which may lead to preventable challenges later in life, such as:
Difficulty nursing, Trouble sleeping💤, Fussiness or difficulty being soothed.
These are all potential signs of spinal nerve stress in babies.
