Family Medicine Practice treating any and all of your health care needs! She has a passion for people and a heart to serve.

Dr. Katherine (Katie) Grelle is board certified in Family Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is originally from Jasper, Alabama where she graduated as Valedictorian from Walker High School in 1997. She was awarded a Presidential Scholarship to the University of Alabama where she received an undergraduate degree in 2001 with a double major in Health Care Management and Biology. She graduated from Saba University School of Medicine in 2007 and then completed residency at the Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency in 2010. After completion of residency, Dr. Grelle moved with her family to Virginia Beach, Virginia with the United States Navy. Her husband was active duty for over a decade. During that time, she practiced as a Tricare Primary Care Manager seeing military spouses and retirees for 3 years while her husband underwent training and performed duties as a naval aviator. She then moved to Meridian, MS where she had the opportunity to practice in an outpatient clinic, Primary Care Associates, with Rush Hospital. There Dr. Grelle was able to work with wonderful patients and co-workers for another three years. In August 2016 as her husband was nearing the end of his naval career, she and her family decided to move back to Tuscaloosa. She worked with the amazing staff of Med Center South until the opening of Integrative Approaches to Wellness at Tuscaloosa Integrative Family Medicine in February 2017. Dr. Grelle is grateful to be back in Tuscaloosa and able to do what she loves. God has prepared a way and provided for she and her family through every step of the process! She longs to make an impact on the health of Tuscaloosa and guide her patients to a happier, healthier tomorrow.
