At The Radiology Clinic, we emphasize early detection through our Lung Cancer Screening CT—a quick, non-invasive scan that identifies lung cancer at its earliest stages.

Who should consider screening?
- Adults aged 50–80
- Current or former smokers
- Individuals with other risk factors (family history, environmental exposure)

As October nears its close, we’re wrapping up Breast Cancer Awareness Month with gratitude, hope, and a reminder that awareness doesn’t stop here.

If you’ve been by the clinic lately, you’ve probably seen our garden of pink and yellow pinwheels, each one a symbol of strength, survival, and the lives touched by breast cancer. Every pinwheel tells a story, and every story reminds us why early detection matters.

It’s time to shine a light on your health — because fifteen minutes can make a lifetime of difference.

To everyone who made time for their mammogram this month, thank you for taking that step; you’re part of the garden that inspires us all. And if you haven’t yet, now’s the perfect time to schedule yours.

Screening mammograms: walk-ins welcome Monday through Friday, 1–4 p.m., and by appointment on Saturdays.

🎃 It's time for our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Showdown! 🎃
Our departments have once again come together to participate in our pumpkin decorating contest! This year, voting will take place only in the clinic, and all the amazing pumpkin creations are displayed in the lobby, competing for the top spot.

Stay tuned to see which department's pumpkin will be crowned the Halloween Champion this year! The winner will be announced on Halloween, October 31st. May the best pumpkin win! 🎃✨

She’s at the Boo! In the Park Halloween event hosted by PARA! She’s handing out candy and answering questions about everything we have to offer at the Radiology Clinic.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Boo! in the Park has been MOVED to the Mary Ann Phelps Activity Center today, Sunday, October 26th from 1-4PM. (2200 Rock Quarry Dr, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406)

Public parking will be at Rock Quarry Elementary (thank you Dr. Daria!) and in the field in front of Phelps.
• Main lot at Phelps reserved for accessible parking and food trucks. Please park in the field.
• Games, Vendors & Trunks (converted to tables) will be inside.
• Touch-A-Truck & pet parade portions cancelled.
