SB252 just passed the full Alabama Senate with 32 Yeahs, no Nays, and one abstention. Thank you to all the Senators who worked so tirelessly on this! Now on to the House.

Monica and Derrell are in Montgomery this week advocating for us and our community.

They have reported back with the good news that our proposed bill has been voted out of committee and will move on to a full senate vote tomorrow morning! We want to thank Steve Livingston and all the other senators who see the value independent pharmacies bring to our communities.

With that being said, there is still work to be done! We need YOUR help now more than ever to make sure this bill makes it all the way through!

Senate Bill 252, the Community Pharmacy Relief Act was introduced today by Senator Billy Beasley. It is a bipartisan effort to maintain access to care for patients across the state. Expected to be in Senate Committee tomorrow at 1 p.m. Please contact your state senator and ask they support SB252 to keep pharmacy doors open.
