This week at Beyond Blindness was a busy one!

We kicked off our new program in our early childhood classrooms! It was heartwarming to see toddlers enjoying family-style meals, practicing self-help skills, and growing in confidence each day. 🍽️✨

Our CEO, Angie Rowe, took the stage at Octane OC's Non-Profit Accelerator Fast Pitch! It was inspiring to reconnect with past Accelerator graduates and hear how local organizations are making a difference across Orange County.

We got a special visit from Bubble Mania! Our crew and classrooms explored bubble rainbows, bubble shapes, and even got the chance to stand inside a giant bubble! 🫧🌈

We also celebrated several team members who completed their Manager’s Toolkit training. We’re excited to see how they’ll apply their new skills to strengthen our mission and impact. 👏📚

This week at Beyond Blindness looked a little different! Our classrooms were closed as we prepped for our Early Head Start program to begin this Monday. Our amazing teachers and staff rolled up their sleeves to get everything ready for the launch of our Early Head Start program starting Monday! 🚀📚

🎆 Happy 4th of July from all of us at Beyond Blindness!

In observance of the holiday, our campus will be closed on Friday, July 4th. We will reopen and resume normal operations on Monday, July 7th.

We're so excited to share that our CEO, Angie Rowe, has been named a finalist for the OC Executive Leadership Awards in recognition of all she’s accomplished over the past two years! Anyone who knows Angie knows how deeply she cares for Beyond Blindness kiddos and their families. Her heart, dedication and leadership inspire us every day. Congratulations, Angie!

🌟 Today we honor the remarkable legacy of Helen Keller, born on this day in 1880.

Despite being deaf and blind, Helen became a world-renowned author, activist, and advocate for people with disabilities. Her courage, determination, and voice continue to inspire generations.

At Beyond Blindness, we are proud to follow in her footsteps by providing critical early intervention and educational services for children with visual impairments and other disabilities. We remain committed to continuing her legacy and ensuring every child we serve has the opportunity to thrive.

Today we celebrated six of our incredible preschool graduates! It has been a true honor to watch these bright young learners grow, explore, and thrive during their time with us. Our dedicated teachers shared heartfelt reflections, beautifully capturing the unique spirit and impact each child has had on our community.

We’ll dearly miss their sweet smiles, infectious giggles, and joyful presence. We can’t wait to see all they will accomplish in the years ahead. Congratulations to our class of 2025! 🎓👏🎉💜
