The Equinox is when equal amounts of light are throughout the northern and southern hemisphere. It last only a second but gives rise to either a birthing uprising Yang energy in the southern hemisphere for Spring OR a consolidation of energies in the northern hemisphere as things become more yin for fall. Fall 🍁 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸The Spring Equinox marks the beginning of spring, a time associated with rebirth, renewal, and growth. The Fall equinox a time of gratitude, reflection and letting go. I find a few days after each equinox is a powerful time to turn inward and set some intentions for bringing in the new and letting go of things that aren’t serving us anymore. This can be done through a variety of rituals not limited to journaling, breath work, meditation, ceremonies and rituals. Here is a list of things I like to spend extra energy on the week after an equinox.
1. Marking the change of seasons: I honor the shifting seasons as sacred transitions—moments to pause, reflect, and realign with nature’s cycles. Each change serves as a reminder of the impermanence of life, encouraging me to slow down and embrace the beauty in both growth and decay. Whether it’s grounding, observing the subtle changes in light, or reliving my childhood with my girls. 👧 👧 In spring we are moving into WOOD (liver/gall bladder) energy! Birth, creativity, imagination and hope can thrive at this time. Also be mindful of anger. Acknowledging it and using it as a gauge.
2.Gratitude. Every morning I give thanks for another day. I’m deeply thankful for the gift of life, the unconditional love of the DIVINE, my mentors, and the privilege of guiding others on their journeys. I consciously practice by living with compassion. Acknowledging and realizing the divine within everyone. 🙏🕉️🕎🔯☪️✝️✡️☮️3. Letting go🙌 to the Great Mystery….More is revealed and I recognize what is no longer serving me. I accept impermanence and embrace uncertainty knowing that the DIVINE lives through me, In me and is Me.
