We’re proud to share that Comfort Keepers of Orange County will be sponsoring the upcoming Dementia Caregiver Education Series: “How to Thrive and Not Merely Survive” at Mount of Olives Church in Mission Viejo.

📅 October 18 | 9–11 AM
📍 Adult Day Program at Mount of Olives Church, Mission Viejo

Led by Dr. Kent Peppard, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in memory and neurocognitive disorders, the lecture will provide valuable insights on:

* Understanding different cognitive disorders
* How to obtain a proper diagnosis
* Strategies to reduce dementia risk
* Caregiver struggles and practical self-care approaches

The morning will also feature a Health Fair (8–9 AM and 11–12 PM), providing additional resources for caregivers and families.

At Comfort Keepers, our mission is to provide compassionate in-home care that supports seniors and their loved ones. We’re honored to support educational events like this that empower caregivers with knowledge, resources, and community connections.

Our incredible Caregiver, Christine has been featured in the powerful new PBS documentary special, Caregiving. Executive produced by Bradley Cooper, her story is highlighted in the episode titled A Caregiver’s Heart. The episode has premiered on YouTube, with the full documentary available on June 25.

This special, brought to life by Well Beings, and WETA , shines a much-needed light on the incredible dedication, resilience, and compassion of caregivers like Christine. It captures the profound challenges caregivers face every day — but also the deep sense of meaning and unwavering commitment that comes from having a true caregiver’s heart.

Christine’s journey is an inspiring reminder of the strength it takes to care for others with grace and love. 💜

✨ This year’s theme, "The Heart of Caregiving," is all about honoring the deep connections between caregivers and those they care for. Inspired by our sponsorship of the Caregiving documentary by PBS, we're especially proud to highlight one of our very own caregivers, Christine Fadriga, featured in the film. 💖

We’re thrilled to recognize Corrina as our Caregiver of the Month 💜

Since joining us just a few months ago, Corrina has gone above and beyond - taking on extra hours, stepping up for extra shifts, supporting complex clients, and always bringing compassion and professionalism to her work.

Recently, she met a client who was hesitant about care. Corrina gently reassured her, and after just one visit, the clients daughter-in-law said she now looks forward to Corrina’s visit is. That’s the magic of a truly gifted caregiver.

Corrina, thank you for all you do. You make such a difference in the lives of our clients and their families!

We were so excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of our new office location in Tustin with our new neighbors, that we had to do a part 2! We were honored to have the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce there to celebrate with us at our humble office space at 13891 Newport Ave #130, Tustin, CA 92780. 🏡

A huge thank you to the CEO and President of the Chamber, Steven Rosansky for welcoming us into the community, and presenting us with a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate for our new location in the 36th district!

We are truly honored by this support as we continue to grow in Orange County, and we are incredibly excited to continue serving the wonderful people of Orange County with our compassionate caregiving services 💛

This Saturday, November 9th from 10am - 2pm, come out for a day filled with live music, a ceremony honoring our veterans, food trucks, a beer garden, and much more. 🎶🍔🍻

We had an amazing time tabling with Anaheim’s Active Older Adult Program, City of Anaheim- Municipal Government & Anaheim Community Services connecting with so many incredible seniors in our community! 💛 We’re proud to support this fantastic initiative that promotes wellness, learning, and friendship for adults 55+.

A special shoutout to Jimmy, the winner of our raffle basket AND the most steps walked in the Walking Club! 🚶‍♂️ He's lightning fast!

We’re so proud of our Comfort Keepers team for coming together to participate in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser supporting the Alzheimer's Association ! 💜

Our amazing team of employees, caregivers, and their family members personally raised over $6,000 to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. A huge thank you to everyone who donated to this incredible cause! 🙏

The Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser supports the important mission of the Alzheimer's Association, which works to:

• Advance research toward a cure
• Provide care and support for those affected
• Raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease
• Advocate for the rights of people living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers
