It was developed by Expecting Justice and the community to make birthing healthier and safer for the people facing the greatest risk during their pregnancy journey.

To be eligible you must reside in Alameda, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, or Riverside counties
* Be 8-27 weeks pregnant at the time of the Abundance Drawing
* Meet income requirements*
* Meet one of the top five risk factors for preterm birth, including:
* Identifying as Black
* Have had a previous preterm birth
* Have preexisting hypertension
* Have preexisting diabetes
* Have sickle cell anemia (SCA)

This week, as we celebrate Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, let's also focus on nourishing our bodies and minds.

What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Jubilee Day, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce the end of the Civil War and the abolition of slavery.

Ways to Celebrate Juneteenth

* Support Black-owned Businesses: Juneteenth is a great time to discover and support Black-owned businesses in your community. From restaurants and shops to yoga studios and wellness centers, there are many ways to show your support.

Celebrating Dads:
This Father's Day, let's show the dads in our lives how much we appreciate their love, support, and guidance. There are many ways to celebrate Dad, such as:
* Planning a Special Outing: Enjoy a day of activities he loves, whether it's a hike in nature, a sporting event, or simply spending quality time together.
* Creating a Relaxing Experience: Help Dad unwind after a long week with a home-cooked meal, a massage (hint, hint!), or a session of mindful breathing exercises you can do together.
* Showing Gratitude: Express your appreciation for everything your dad does with a heartfelt card or a thoughtful gift.
Men's Mental Health Month:
