ProActive Youth & Family Support Center FREE and Available services for youth in crisis and support for family 24/7 365 days of the year Services are free and available 24/7, 365 days a year.

The ProActive Youth and Family Support Center is designed to fulfill the need for youth-focused crisis services for youth experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Youth and their families may walk in anytime. Services available include short-term crisis interventions with connections to resources in the community for long-term support. Primarily, but not limited to:

Food, shelter

and support in a nurturing, trauma-focused, youth-centered environment. Mental health, medical and substance abuse screenings. Crisis stabilization and de-escalation for mental health and substance abuse crisis that includes individual crisis counseling. Youth Peer Support Specialists. These are special people who understand what you are going through because they too have dealt with mental illness and/or substance abuse in their own life experiences. Peers engage and support you throughout your stay to help you feel comfortable and identify what you need to keep safe and healthy. Psycho-educational, skill building and prevention resources for youth and family. A treatment plan at discharge that is focused on your unique needs and circumstances. Case Management Services to help connect you and your family with resources in the community. Serving the following counties in Southern Idaho: Cassia, Minidoka, Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding, Blaine, Camas, and Lincoln

We are thrilled to announce our Skills Training and Development Groups for youth with severe emotional disturbance, starting June 2nd! These groups are designed to empower youth aged 6 to 17 with essential life skills and support.

🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Main Street Office, 264 Main Ave. South, Twin Falls

Eligibility: Youth must be on Medicaid and have a verified mental health diagnosis to attend. Self-pay options are also available.
What youth will learn:
• Coping Skills
• Emotional Regulation
• Social Skills
• Substance Abuse Prevention
• Anger Management
• Adaptive Living Skills
• Problem Solving Skills

We also provide individualized behavioral crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed during the groups.
How to Enroll: Visit our office to complete the eligibility paperwork before classes begin.
