We are open and in full operation. The funeral home chapel has been updated for a more convenient versatile venue which we can also rent out for other events. The Serenity life celebration center and we have a new managing funeral director. His name is Russ Mikel. I've worked with him for years. He's a wonderful man, out of the Wood River Valley. I am still consulting and assisting him with the funeral home. And when it does sell, be assured that everything will stay the same. I will make sure that my legacy continues on. Just as Parke's did when they sold to Wilks out of Pocatello, just as Whites did when they merged with Reynolds, after multiple corporate ownerships and now locally owned by Sunset Memorial Park staff. There is no need for concern about your prepaid funeral plans or your loved ones, or theirc cremated remains, still in our care. I have been through corporate mergers before and we take care of everything with dignity and respect. I will keep you informed of any changes. Your continued support from the community is imperative so that the legacy I created can live on, to insure my children have a stable home, and the ability to make a new start.
Thank you for all the support over 20 years of business. I'm looking forward to the legacy carrying on for many, many more decades. We also have 2 crematories, while some funeral homes in the area have none, and must transport to crematories out of town. Whites/ Reynolds for example. We have the ability to assist you in returning your loved ones to you in a very timely manner. Having crematory operators trained on site ready to perform their duties and get your loved one back to you as soon as possible. I know it is especially important around the holidays.
