Today Waterview Shores had employees who braved the blizzard, and then helped out one another to get to work or get things done. Thank you Alysia for being the taxi to so many today at the nursing home and Grace for being the taxi tonight. Jackie for being our Assisted living taxi for staff in need. Paul and Christi who both walked blocks to get to work. Lenny, Sheri and Sarah for putting extra hours in the kitchen. Doug and Paul cleaning the snow. Jess, Jenny and Alysia helping to try and clean up the fire exits with Paul. And a huge thankyou to Nightwines Land Services LLC for taking over cleaning the fire exits when we were literally over our head in snow.

We celebrated Valentines day by crowning our king and queen at both the care center and assisted living. This years king and queen at the care center is Bruce and Gloria and at the assisted living is John and Mary Ann.

Thank you to all the wonderful entertainers that came and play music and sang christmas carols to get the residents into the the christmas spirit. We had northshore fiddlers, THHS Choir, Knife River Lutheran Church Choir, and the Minnehaha Kindergarten class.
