One thing about invisible diseases is they can pop up out of no where! Great day for 10 days in a row and BAMB!! Wake up with swollen lymph nodes and knee! Welcome to the party friends!! Opposite side of it, it generally only last 24 hours IF you rest and listen to your body. 💪 Here's to giving yourself grace and a better tomorrow! ♥️

So many don't realize how #5 effects the gut. It is by far the worst one, in my opinion. So do what you must to protect your health. No one else is going to!

GREAT article. 67% could not get proper treatment plans approved by insurance, 40% can not afford treatment. This is ridiculous and needs to change with all other things changing right now.

While nearly one in 100 people in the United States are affected by IBD, the disease remains largely invisible due to societal taboos about discussing bathroom issues and the stigma often associated with it. Yet, we know that IBD is much more than a “bathroom disease” that includes, among other ...

It's hard to put yourself first when so many people depend on you. But I have learned the hard way that you MUST. If not, you are no good to those you love and reply upon you. I also learned younger eyes are always watching. Watching the good days, the bad days, how you take care of yourself and react in every moment of them. So I started to bring her along to show her that it is just as important to do this for ourselves and allows us to spend time together. Rather its a walk in the evenings or gym time teaching her how to use equipment and letting her get comfortable in a group setting. Both she is learning and seeing how it helps her own mental and physical health. So get up and do the hard things!! It's just as important as giving yourself grace when you truly can't get out of bed. You never know who is watching and learning from you.

Mind blown!!! 🤯 After living with an invisible disease for almost 20 years, I have tried almost everything on the market to help fight inflammation and get my disease under control. Well I will say, for the first time I am hopeful!! This is truly a God send!! Stem cell patches are where it is at! With over 20 years of technology, case studies (US and International), and numerous personal testimonials from all over the disease spectrum, it truly does what it says it does. Helps your body repair NATURALLY through stem cell stimulation! Just take a look at the difference in my pics 9 weeks apart. NO diet change, exercise change, nothing. JUST patching. Pain is down, spasms are down, my labs are down, and my gut looked the best it has looked in 20 years!! PTL!! Can't wait to see what the next 9 weeks look like! 💃🙏❤️🙌

This is my favorite time of year! Fresh organic veggies are more readily available, farmers markets are full of colorful fruit, and grass fed beef and chicken are all in one spot. Makes a Crohnies life easier when food is involved!

Later Later Later

- Talk to you later.
- I'll call you later.
- See you later.
- We'll walk later.
- I'll tell you later.

We leave everything for later, but forget that "later" does not belong to us.

Later, our loved ones are no longer with us.
Later, we don't hear them and we don't see them.
Later, they are just memories.
Later, the day becomes night, the force becomes helpless,

the smile becomes a grimace, and life becomes death.
"Later" becomes "too late."

♥️saw this on a post today and had to share. I can honestly say, this is one of the most important things my chronic dosease has taught me. TOMORROW is NOT promised. You don't know what the day will bring. Can I get out of bed? Man, why is my knee swollen? What is this strange rash today? It is truly a game of craps. You learn to appreciate the little wins. So love a little longer, fight a little harder, stop and smell the roses more often, and get outside and enjoy the sunshine more!

One thing you learn to embrace real quick in a Crohns journey is to get prepared for a bad day tomorrow. You truly don't know when they will strike so it is vital to make the most out of each day. Tomorrow you may have to cancel plans with friends/family, may be passing blood clots out of your exit only, or not even able to move out of bed. Your circle will get smaller as some won't understand due to "you look fine". But the ones who do get it,
the ones who don't bring the guilt parade, and the ones who help you find the humor are the diamonds in your life!! Thank you for two of my diamonds this week just randomly showing up when they didn't know how bad it was or how bad I needed something. Love you two ladies!! It won't let me tag you Julie Herzig or April Stover, but I can always find a loop hole. 🥰😍😘
