Armando Camacho Jr. is new to Texas He began working in the field of ABA in 2023 and is eager to apply the knowledge he gained from his previous jobs as a BT and his current position as an RBT. Currently, Armando is a full-time online Psychology student. In his free time, he enjoys running and racing on his simulator rig. STAFF SPOTLIGHT: KAYLA KIRK, RBT

Kayla is a dedicated professional with a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she has committed her career to supporting children with developmental delays, helping them reach their full potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. Her work is both rewarding and impactful, making a difference in the lives of the families she serves.Outside of her professional role, Kayla values quality time with her fiancé and stepdaughter. Whether they’re spending a relaxing day at the lake or enjoying simple moments together, she finds joy and balance in her family life. This combination of professional dedication and personal fulfillment reflects Kayla’s warm, thoughtful, and grounded nature.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: LAUREN OWENS, RBT

Lauren is a Louisiana native who moved to Texas two years ago after getting her Human Development and Family Sciences degree at Louisiana Tech University. In 2022, she found her passion in ABA, where she worked as an RBT until pursuing special education in the school setting. Lauren has always been passionate about helping others and is excited to continue her career in ABA while making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. In her free time, you can find her traveling, reading, spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family, or spoiling her two lovable puppies. Lauren is excited to bring her energy, experience, and dedication to a team where she can continue to grow and contribute to the well-being of others.

🌟 Exciting Staff News at Monarch Prep! 🌟

We are thrilled to celebrate two wonderful team members who are stepping into new roles that strengthen both our clinical support and student services!

✨ Holly, who has been with us since Monarch OPENED, has transitioned into our Clinical Support Specialist position! She will continue working directly with students while also supporting staffing, scheduling, and key administrative needs. Her leadership and compassion make her a perfect fit for this role.

✨ Stormy has stepped into the Behavior Analyst Assistant position! She will spend half of her day working with students and the other half supporting our BCBAs with assessments, program updates, and clinical needs under their supervision. Her initiative and strong clinical instincts make her an incredible asset in this new capacity.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: DARSHINI DEUTSCH, BCBA
This Thanksgiving season, we’re feeling extra grateful for many things — and at the top of that list is Darshini, who joined the Monarch Prep family back in September.

From day one, she has brought deep compassion, clinical expertise, and an unmistakable calm presence that has enriched our students, families, and staff. Her dedication to high-quality, heart-centered care shines in everything she does.

Darshini grew up in several places across the US and abroad before making her home in East Texas. She joined the field of ABA therapy in 2014 and immediately felt drawn to serving neurodiverse learners and their families. She studied and conducted research in behavior analysis at the University of North Texas, and has additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is passionate about blending evidence-based practice with creativity and compassion to teach skills and nurture growth. Outside of ABA, Darshini is active in her church and enjoys hiking, playing music, and reading. She believes in celebrating progress at every step and is dedicated to making learning a joyful and meaningful experience.

We are so thankful to have her as part of our team and cannot wait to see the continued impact she’ll make as she grows with us. 💛❤️
