“Development in the dark”
No one wants to take the time to become great, everyone wants to immediately be great. Social Media and Society have created a World that praises followers and likes, and if we don’t receive enough we feel like failures. Henry Ford was 45 years old when he created the revolutionary Model T Ford car. Prior to that he had many dark days of development in hopes of becoming a world renowned figure.
A photograph has to go into a dark room with little to no light in order to develop. If it is exposed to light before it’s time, it will ruin the picture. We must learn that every dark place is not a bad place, but a place to Develop. When we are exposed to early we ruin the picture.
Some times it seems that you’ve been in the development process for a long time, but it is all for your good. Let us be reminded of what our daily book of instructions say in Galatians 6:9; “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
