As we approach the holiday season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we can give back to our community. From November 1st to November 30th, Azalea Orthopedics will be holding a food drive to collect canned goods for PATH (People Attempting to Help). Please bring your unopened, unexpired food items to Azalea by November 30. Payton Chadwick, a competitive athlete, national champion and world-class hurdler! Ranked top 15 in the world at one point and competed in the 2021 Olympic trials. Payton suffered a hip injury due to all the years of high training and competition. She found Dr. Justin Bartley, fellowship-trained, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Azalea Orthopedics. Dr. Bartley diagnosed Payton with a labral tear and hip impingement, which was impeding her performance and ability to compete. Dr. Bartley performed an arthroscopic hip surgery, which led to a very successful postop recovery. Payton is back to training, back to running without pain, back to hurdling, and coaching track & field, where she is thrilled to be giving back to the next generation.
