The doctors and staff of Tyler Longview Oral and Facial Surgery are proud to be part of the East Texas Healthcare Community serving the people of a region we love. With our Tyler facility, we offer many of the state-of-the-art safety features found in hospital settings. Tyler Oral and Facial Surgery center and it’s adjoining outpatient surgery facility, Turtle Creek Surgery Center, represent the realization of a dream—to provide our patients with the latest medical technology while providing thoughtful, individualized care. We offer consultation offices and surgery suites all in one location, employing many of the same fail-safe systems available in most advanced hospital settings. Turtle Creek Surgery Center is a Texas Department of Health Certified Facility designed for more advanced surgical and anesthesia needs. Procedures such as facial cosmetic surgery, TMJ surgery and advanced dental implant surgery can be accomplished safely in our offices. We are one of the few Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practices in the nation to provide such services. And with four surgeons at our facility five days a week, it means optimum convenience for our patients. Despite these advanced features, our fees are comparable (and in many cases less costly) when compared to similar practices in the region. Each doctor has a qualified staff who works with your insurance company and we also offer 0% interest, flexible financing plans to those who qualify. Our little extras—convenient parking, a pleasant atmosphere, a caring and courteous staff, and flexibility in scheduling—all ensure comfort for our patients and their families. In 2014 and even before, we realized the growing need for our services in the Longview and the surrounding area. We responded to that need by opening our newest office in Longview in September 2015. Since that time, our practice has grown and we have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors in Gregg County and the surrounding area. We are thrilled to be a part of your community and look forward to serving you for many years.

✨ Teamwork in Action ✨

Some cases are not solved in one step…

This young patient had mandibular second molars blocked by impacted wisdom teeth, preventing them from erupting normally. Our first phase was a surgical procedure to remove lower third molars and upright the second molars, setting the foundation for a healthy bite.

Now, with the help of our amazing orthodontist, space is being carefully created in the upper arch. Next steps will include an expose-and-bond procedure for the impacted maxillary canine and removal of the upper wisdom teeth; all timed with their orthodontic progress.

What makes this treatment special isn’t just the surgical skill or orthodontic planning – it’s the phasing treatment and teamwork required from myself (oral surgeon), our dentist, our orthodontist, our patient and their parents. By structuring their care step-by-step, we’re able to support both their health and their parents goals, including spacing out treatment and financing in a way that works for their family.

🦷💙At the end of the day, our mission is to help patients get the care they need, while supporting the families who walk this journey with them.
