Dr. Baum grew up in Riviera, Texas where she graduated from Kaufer High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman and her medical degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso. Dr. Baum worked at Scott & White in College Station for 5 years prior to moving to Tyler where she has been an independent practitioner for 12 years. Dr. Baum treats patients 18 years and older, covering a wide range of medical diseases. She has a special interest in preventative care, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and helping patients with weight loss.
