Do you need deep tissue massage, but really don't want the pain sometimes associated with deep tissue massage? FYI You do NOT have to have deeeeep for massage to benefit you. Every person's level of tolerance and body's ability to accept pressure is waaay different and should be catered to each specific case. Some people also take waaaay longer to start relaxing and gradually build up to deeper pressure and therefore they benefit more with longer massages. Don't forget your mind and body work together as one. Sometimes we have to tell the mind to relax to be able to get to the deep tissue. There are other options you can implement into your massage journey like cupping. It doesn't hurt as much as deep pressure for most people, its quick and very effective. In the Eastern culture, the darker the pull, the more stagnation of blood and lymph is to be believed. This client pulled the darkest I think I've ever had anyone in his pain areas. Very effective, very happy with the results , and he was super happy to not have another therapist dig into him for a change. I love my work, it is my passion to help people and my job has allowed me to literally change lives daily with NATURAL pain management since 2005.
