As we enter a new week, we encourage you to reflect and take stock of how YOU are doing. And remember to appreciate yourself. Caring for someone else is hard, and it can be overwhelming. It is so important that you remember how incredible you are and that you have a community behind you ready to help.

Planning ahead can make a world of difference. Advanced care planning allows you to document your healthcare wishes now, so your loved ones and providers know how to honor your choices if you’re ever unable to communicate them, allowing loved ones to spend more time and energy with each other rather than grappling with the stress of uncertainty in unfamiliar situations.
You can find more information and resources for advanced care planning here: https://hospiceofeasttexas.org/advanced-care-planning/
