"Jesus is the Great I AM
He is not the Great I WAS

But Jesus is the Great RIGHT NOW!! We hold a free medical clinic every third Saturday of the month beginning at 8:30. If you need medical care, have low income and are uninsured or under-insured we would count it an honor to treat you. We can pray for you and with you. We can mak

e referrals for any needs you have. We enjoy meeting our neighbors and helping them in any way we can. October 8th will be the beginning of our 13th year of community service to our neighbors. To make it closer and more convenient for our patients and volunteers, we moved the clinic from New Chapel Hill to Tyler. The new name of the clinic is Lone Star Clinic and is located at 604 W. Fourth Street, Tyler, Texas 75702. We still have the same doctors and volunteers along with some new staff and we are all eager to help our community neighbors. Come on October 16th to the clinic at 8:30 AM. We’ll feed you lunch while you are here! God Bless You and Yours.

Our Story

Clinic History….

Sharon Community Clinic was organized for two reasons: to provide needed medical care for people in our community and, secondly, to further the Kingdom of God. We provide free medical care for medically underserved, uninsured or underinsured, and low income individuals. We also provide personal, social, and spiritual counseling for our clients. The services we perform are funded by small donations given by the public and an occasional fundraiser.

We initially had several members of our church, as well as, other churches with various areas of medical expertise come together to provide free medical care using very limited tools, equipment, and money. We felt like all that was needed was skill and compassion. We talk to people about their social needs and try to meet those needs, including networking with other agencies that provide services. We have since added a used clothing ministry and occasionally have a small food ministry. We also provide a free hot meal to all on clinic days.

Our constant theme has been to provide free medical care to our patients, as well as, point them to God for their spiritual needs. We have an all Christian staff of volunteers and we often cry with, pray with, and love on our patients.
