“Brain fog” is a term often used to describe a feeling of not being able to think as sharply as you’re used to, and it’s incredibly common (and frustrating!). ⁠⁠

Let’s talk some more about grounding/earthing 🌎🍃🌱🌳

Grounding is a energetic phenomena one experiences when their bare skin directly connects to Mother Earth. To be grounded is to be energetically centered, to give your energy a point of focus. Life is all about balance and as earthly beings we truly belong in close quarters to the most natural areas of this planet. We simply are not meant to be indoors and wearing rubber soles every time we leave the house. Modern living has definitely limited the raw contact our bodies have to the earth below our feet. Our bodies starve to be in contact with the earth's electricity on a daily basis. The same natural dirt that provides us with a surface to live on, and space to grow our food charges our bodies with much needed negative ions.

We all have energetic bodies and everything around us comes from pure energy. Today’s technology has a way of infecting us with “dirty energy” or energy that hurts us instead of helps us. Ironically it’s the positive ions that cause us the most harm. Exposing ourselves to more positive ions (electrical energy or dirty energy) then negative ions over a lifetime or less can destroy our health. The cure is the earth's natural healing powers. Why is grounding so important?

🔥Reduces inflammation.

We know that ninety percent of all of our chronic health conditions are linked to excessive or persistent inflammation. Grounding is one of the simplest ways to address that.

There’s a lot going on inside most frozen “fruit bars” on the market….

Outshine says “Made With Real Fruit” …but they are also filled with white sugar, natural flavors, gums, concentrated juices.

And despite the pictures of fruit on the box, I don’t consider these bars real food.

Don’t waste your money on boxes full of chemicals like this, when it’s super easy to make frozen fruit pops with healthy ingredients. All you need is a blender and a stainless-steel or silicone (not plastic!) popsicle mold:

Food Babe's Pineapple Ginger Pops
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 teaspoon grated ginger, more as desired
½ cup coconut milk
1-2 teaspoons raw honey (optional)

Instructions:
1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend to combine.
2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.
