Thank everyone who came out this morning to help us celebrate our Cinco de Mayo event at Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation. We’re truly grateful for the support of Three Oaks Hospice, Hospice Plus, Heart to Heart Hospice, Choice Home Health, Enhabit Hospice, and Girling Personal Care.

Because of you, our residents had a wonderful time and the celebration felt truly special. Thank you again for showing up and helping make this event a success.

It’s graduation day for Cynthia Swindell! Cynthia came to our facility from another facility in Louisiana to finish out her rehabilitation before moving into her new home here in Texas. Her hard work and determination truly paid off—today was her graduation day from rehab, and she is now off to enjoy her new home with her family.

We will miss Cynthia, but we are so happy—happy—for another successful discharge from Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation!

We had some fun today! One of our very own residents, JD, was nominated for “Old People Are Cool.” He was presented with a plaque and a poster—what an honor!

The residents had so much fun creating flower arrangements for “April Showers and Spring Flowers”. Karen is pink with pride, Marilee is matching, and everyone brought great energy to the activity. Someone has to cut out the umbrellas, and Judy is the lady for the job!

Karen is practicing her lines, and Javier is playing “Sam” in the Park Place Players production of A Little Bit of Rain—with Cheryl reminding him of his lines, of course. Yukio gave a brilliant performance as Lori!

Residents thoroughly enjoyed a delightful egg decorating session today with Robb. The activity brought smiles, creativity, and a festive spirit to everyone involved. It was a wonderful opportunity for residents to express themselves artistically while sharing fun moments together. Everyone appreciated Robb’s guidance and enthusiasm throughout the event.
