My name is Andrew Faulkner and I am the Health Services Director BSN, RN at Oak Hills Terrace. My passion is taking care of the elderly population and I have been working in long term care and assisted living for over 13 years now! I have a wife (Kristen) who is also a nurse, two wonderful step kids, Braxton and Braydon and daughter Kenzie who is 3 years old. I have been at Oak Hills Terrace for 5 1/2 years, and I look forward to continuing this rewarding journey along side our amazing team here that we have established!

A huge thank you to Courtney Klepfer, Rory Marcello Bagwell and Tiffany Clements, and the entire HomeAid team for all you do each and every day.

They don’t just provide caregiving in homes and communities — they also offer valuable education and dementia care training that supports families and caregivers alike. 💜

“Old People Are Cool” is one of those events we look forward to all year long! 🍹🎨

Our talented residents even created a variety of handmade items for guests to take home—a special way to share their creativity and make the event even more meaningful. 💛

Margaritas + art = the perfect way for our Artsy Hands crew to kick back, relax, and let creativity flow. It’s not just about what we create—it's about the process.

Art is especially powerful for those living with dementia. Creative expression can spark memories, lift moods, reduce anxiety, and provide a way to communicate when words are hard to find. Every brushstroke becomes a moment of connection and purpose.

Deanna led our Artsy Hands Club in creating beautiful wall hangings for our “Old People Are Cool” event. Sue and Vanoy especially had a great time creating!

This is a wonderful example of our SPARK program in action. Residents worked for months on projects for “Old People Are Cool,” building skills and creativity along the way. By focusing on projects or learning topics over a longer period of time and always progressing toward a goal, residents become more fully engaged and experience a greater sense of success.

Each handmade piece was offered in exchange for donations, with all proceeds supporting the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. 💜
