✨Aurora Dancer Spotlight✨
Meet Taryn! She has been passionate about dance since childhood, when she and her neighborhood friends created routines and put on performances for their community. She went on to join her high school dance team and later continued with jazz and ballet in college.
After becoming a mom, she longed for a way to keep dancing. With no adult classes nearby, she turned to Zumba, which helped her stay connected to movement during a time of isolation. Everything changed when she moved to Texas and found a studio that offered both adult classes for her and dance opportunities for her daughter.
Dance has become a source of joy, connection, and healing for Taryn. It has strengthened her bond with her daughter, introduced her to lasting friendships, and provided a space where she feels truly herself. Her favorite styles are jazz and hip hop, and she especially loves to bring energy and sass to the dance floor. For her, dance is more than exercise. It is a lifeline, a source of confidence, and something that truly feeds her soul. We absolutely love having Taryn as part of our Aurora Dance Center community!
