Things I Would Never Do as an ER Doc 🚫

As an ER doctor, here are 3 things I would never do:
1️⃣ Drive when I'm extremely tired or sleepy
2️⃣ Ignore chest pain or symptoms like shortness of breath
3️⃣ Text while any activity requires my full attention

Chris has been a vital part of The Emergency Clinic Alamo Heights for seven years, and his dedication plays a big role in why we keep winning the Press Ganey Pinnacle Award!

Chris is always willing to step up and cover open shifts when needed. He's well-loved by all his coworkers and is known for his consistency with patient exams—working hard to make every scan the best experience possible for his patients.

Outside of work, Chris is a devoted family man. You can find him at the beach, camping, or fishing with his wife and two daughters. He also stays active at the gym lifting weights with his wife, at gymnastics with his oldest daughter, or at jiujitsu with his youngest. When he's not busy with family activities, Chris loves to travel!

Student Athletes of the Month: Addy & Kaitlin McArthur 🏐⛸️

This month, we're celebrating twin sisters and daughters of Dr. Todd McArthur from our Complete Care Colorado Springs location!

Addy McArthur started club volleyball at 12 and never looked back. From making the Colorado All State team and earning team MVP honors to competing at the collegiate level, Addy worked her way up to become a starting outside hitter for Southern Utah University—achieving her Division I dream! She maintains a 3.9 GPA while studying exercise science and plans to become a Physician Assistant in Dermatology. 🏐

Kaitlin McArthur has loved gymnastics since she was 18 months old. A level 9 gymnast who competed in Junior Olympics, Kaitlin has been a varsity starter for Palmer Ridge High School all four years. Her team won the state championship her sophomore year, and this season she's winning the all-around at every competition. After graduation, she plans to major in Elementary Education at Utah Tech University and become a second-grade teacher. ⛸️
