We would like to take a moment to honor the life and legacy of Captain Joseph Duggan.

Captain Duggan was a cherished member of the Fire Tech & Safety family for over 15 years. Before joining our team, Joe served as a Captain with Boston Rescue 1, one of the most elite rescue companies in the country. He came from a generation of firefighters who faced incredible danger with limited protective equipment, responding to countless fires and saving countless lives. He was, in every sense of the word, a true hero.

At Fire Tech, Joe was our very first thermal imaging specialist. His dedication to training helped educate and prepare thousands of firefighters across New England. His influence didn’t stop at the classroom or the fireground,he improved the future for many, including the person writing this post today.

We will deeply miss his wisdom, humility, and the quiet strength he brought to every room.

Rest easy, Captain. You’ve more than earned it.

This past week, we marked a major milestone — our company’s 40th anniversary — and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting than Pepperrell Cove to celebrate it!

From heartfelt speeches to shared memories, laughter, and a few happy tears, the event reminded us just how far we’ve come — and how grateful we are for everyone who’s been part of the journey: our team, our clients, our partners, and our community.
