Our station, built over 60 years ago, was originally only intended for on-call/volunteer use. Over the years, the town has grown and so has the fire department. While we have periodically added additions to the station, through our own funds, the space has reached its limits for our current needs.
This photo outlines one example of this problem. Here you can see some of our firefighters training in a room that also doubles as our kitchen, public entrance, and office space for writing reports. Only about 1/3 of the department is pictured, as the space does not allow for more.
