Our station, built over 60 years ago, was originally only intended for on-call/volunteer use. Over the years, the town has grown and so has the fire department. While we have periodically added additions to the station, through our own funds, the space has reached its limits for our current needs.

This photo outlines one example of this problem. Here you can see some of our firefighters training in a room that also doubles as our kitchen, public entrance, and office space for writing reports. Only about 1/3 of the department is pictured, as the space does not allow for more.

Our team of Tyngsborough Firefighters are climbing stairs in the Fight For Air Climb to support people with lung disease who are fighting for every breath.

We are trying to reach our fundraising goal to support the mission of the American Lung Association.

Tomorrow is the big day! Join us Saturday 13th at 11:00 at the center of town Veterans Memorial, for a small ceremony and then we will spread out to the town cemeteries for the official laying of the wreaths. We thank you in advance for your support.

Please visit the Tyngsborough Fire Station tomorrow between 12:00pm - 4:00pm for our Open House during the Festival of Trees!! Station tours will be given to those curious about the department's current needs. Free s'more will be provided and there may be a special appearance by the Grinch! We hope to see you all there!
