🤍Birth work isn’t for the weak. Behind every beautiful baby is a doula or midwife who drove home in silence, carrying whatever the room left behind. That’s why your circle isn’t optional — it’s survival.

I’ve been lucky enough to find mine. Women I’ve known for years, trusted with my whole heart, and watched show up for our clients the same way they show up for me. And to the new relationships that have come into existence. They bring calm into the birth space and something harder to name into everything else — the kind of presence that steadies a room without saying a word.

🫶🏾We’ve made a vow to be more intentional about coming together — to unpack our birth baggage, to be honest about the weight this work carries, and to connect not just as birth workers, but as women and business owners who are hard working, boots on the ground protectors of birth. I'm beyond grateful to do this work alongside them.

Rule #1: Don’t tell nobody. 🤫

And no, that’s not shade — that’s strategy.

The minute you say “I’m having a home birth” somebody’s auntie’s neighbor’s cousin had a story. 😩 Your mother in law starts googling. Your coworker gets concerned. Suddenly YOUR birth is everybody’s business and everybody’s anxiety is now yours to carry.

Ebony said what she said — and honestly? She did the math. 💅🏾

✨Midwifery has always been about relationship. We’re just bold enough to redefine what that relationship can be. Birth By Grace remains rooted in the sacred work of supporting birth — the intimacy, the power, the presence. That will never change.

But we’ve made a declaration:

Women deserve more than episodic care. They deserve a practice that follows them through every season of life — and we are building exactly that.

Her WellNest Collective is not a trend. It’s not an add-on. It is the next frontier of midwifery care — where women finally receive the kind of whole-person care this profession has always been capable of delivering.

And we didn’t do it alone.
We’ve intentionally grown our team — because we know what it takes to hold a woman well. Just like it takes a village to welcome a baby earthside, it takes a village to care for the woman she is becoming.

This is modern midwifery in practice. This is care without a ceiling.
