Dr. Mayo Friedlis became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine in 2023. The American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine Fellow status is an honor bestowed upon AAOM members who have shown evidence of outstanding contributions or performance in the field of Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine. Fellow status requires that a person’s work in the field has successfully completed and passed through both the written and practical examination of the IROM – C program of AAOM.
Award of Lifetime Achievement award by the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, 2023.
The AAOM Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes and promotes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the American Academy of orthopedic medicine and to Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine through instruction, leadership, and service and/or research over a minimum of 25 years.
Designation of Prolotherapy Centers of the Americas
An elite group of doctors who demonstrate the highest quality of musculoskeletal healthcare through education and training in the field of orthobiologics, including prolotherapy, PRP, stem cells, and regenerative medicine, and who are known to have the respect of their peers, an excellent reputation, and expertise in the field of regenerative medicine. PCA designation is the first step members take in obtaining the ultimate designation of American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine Fellow.

Members are committed to ongoing learning and training to keep current with existing skills, as well as the pursuit of new knowledge in the field so at all times can provide patients with the best possible outcomes.
Members complete a rigorous review process to ensure they meet the standard set by the AAOM.
