Snow days are fun❄❄… until your back reminds you they aren't. 😩 Shoveling is a full-body workout, but without the right form, it’s a recipe for spinal stress. Here’s your chiropractor-approved checklist:
❄Warm up first: A few minutes of squats and arm circles prepare your joints.
❄Hinge, don’t curve: Bend at your hips and knees, not your waist.
❄Pivot your feet: Never twist your spine while lifting; turn your whole body instead.
❄Keep it close: The further the shovel is from your body, the more strain on your discs.
❄Push over lift: If you can push it like a plow, your spine will thank you.
❄Take breaks: Fatigue is when form slips and injuries happen.
