Since 2002, Care For Her at MCHC Health Centers has supported families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care and in fall 2025, they reached an incredible milestone: 10,000 deliveries!

From 22 births in their very first year to a full team of OB-GYNs, certified nurse midwives, and women’s health providers serving families across Mendocino County. This is 10,000 moments of trust, strength, and new beginnings.

We are so incredibly proud of the entire Care For Her team — the providers, nurses, medical assistants, educators, and support staff whose compassion and dedication make this work possible every single day.

That’s 10,000 first cries. 10,000 first holds. 10,000 stories that started right here at home.

Here’s to the next 10,000. 💛

This season reminded us what community truly means. 💚
Thanks to our MCHC team, boxes and boxes of food were donated to Willits Daily Bread, helping them continue serving four evening meals each week to neighbors experiencing hunger—no matter their circumstances.

Through our Grinch Tree partnership with Mendocino County Department of Social Services, Family & Children’s Services, we were also able to help make the holidays brighter for 228 foster children. 🎄
The generosity was overwhelming—in the best way—as our staff continued to ask for more names to shop for. We are incredibly proud of the MCHC team.
