Families are counting down the final days of the school year and kids are ready for summer break! Many parents are asking the question: Is my child old enough to be left home alone?

Visit https://www.safekidskansas.org/home_safety.htm and click on our “Home Alone Guidance” for a checklist in English and Spanish. This worksheet will help you decide when your child is ready and help prepare them for the responsibility of being home alone. You can also fill in emergency contact information and your own “house rules”. Check it out!
