On , we honor the individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Corporal Benjamin S. Kopp, a member of the 75th Army Ranger Regiment, saved six of his comrades when his unit came under attack in Afghanistan. He was mortally wounded and saved four more lives back in the United States through his selfless gift of organ donation. To honor Corporal Kopp and all other brave soldiers who became organ, eye and tissue donors, the Fallen Soldier statue stands at the National Donor Memorial at United Network for Organ Sharing and honors members of our military who made organ, eye and tissue donation their last courageous act of service. The site is a place of peace for all who wish to honor the gift of life! 💙💚

At 17, he was already so much: A Friday Night Lights football player. A future Navy SEAL. A missionary who served in Argentina at 15. The kid who prayed on the sidelines and made sure no one felt alone in the school hallways.

Born to Army vets but Navy-bound, he was breaking tradition to chase his dreams. That was Jeremiah - writing his own story, but always in service of others.

We didn’t know he’d registered as an organ donor. But of course he did. The boy who could read hearts chose to give his when his time came.

Now, with every Buckeyes touchdown, we do his pushups. With every Cowboys score, we celebrate his spirit. And somewhere out there, others are living fuller lives because a 17-year-old understood that love is an action.

Y'all in? Are you a registered organ, eye, and tissue donor? DonateLifeTexas.org
