📣 Important Policy Updates Effective 01/01/26
To keep providing safe, timely, and high-quality care, we’re implementing a few updates for the new year. Please read carefully:
1️⃣ Baptist Employee Discount
Baptist employees will continue receiving a generous discount; however, it will no longer be offered at our cost. Please ask us about the price of your specific dose at your next visit.
2️⃣ New Weight Loss Patients
Patients seeking weight loss only (without establishing primary care) will owe an $85 self-pay fee, and these visits will not be billed to insurance.
If you choose to establish primary care with us, your visit will be billed through insurance.
3️⃣ Weight Loss Injection NCNS Policy
We’ve seen a rise in no-call/no-show appointments for injection pickups. Because these are drawn up the day before as a courtesy, it’s important to arrive on time.
Moving forward, two NCNS injection pickups will result in no longer being eligible to receive injections through our office. We understand that life happens, so just give us a quick call. It’s basic courtesy and helps us avoid waste.
4️⃣ Phentermine Refill Visits
If you are coming only for a phentermine refill (with no other primary care needs), these visits will be $50 starting 01/01/26. Insurance typically does not cover weight loss services, and this reflects the time Dr. Hanks dedicates to individualized plans for calories, protein goals, and exercise.
5️⃣ Primary Care Availability
We are not accepting new primary care patients until 01/01/26. We’re grateful to have a full schedule and want to ensure we’re giving our established patients the time and attention they deserve.
Thank you for your understanding and for trusting us with your care. 💙
