Baptist Medical Group would like to congratulate BMG/Twin Rivers Ortho's Dr. Heather Melton as she was recently honored by Bethel Athletics with a Service Award. For 20 years, Dr. Melton and the staff of Twin Rivers Orthopaedics has provided excellent quality care for the student athletes of Bethel University.

As a second generation orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Heather Melton started her practice over 22 years ago. She joined Baptist Medical Group in 2023 and is currently serving our communities with top quality care in three separate locations.

We’re proud to recognize Paxton Sisson, Certified Physician Assistant at Baptist Medical Group – Twin Rivers Orthopedics, as one of this year’s Future 15 honorees!

With over a decade of experience in sports medicine and orthopedics, Paxton has dedicated her career to helping patients live healthier, more active lives. From injury prevention and rehabilitation to mentoring future medical professionals, her expertise and compassion have made a lasting impact on families and athletes across Obion County.

Paxton played an instrumental role in helping launch Baptist’s first orthopedic clinic in Obion County, expanding access to high-quality care close to home. Through her volunteer work providing free annual sports physicals at local schools, she continues to give back to the community by ensuring every student-athlete has the opportunity to participate safely.

Congratulations, Paxton, on being named one of Obion County’s Future 15! 🌟
