We are celebrating Kim Storey during Lab Professionals Week 2026! Kim serves a number of roles in the laboratory at Pediatric Place. We are so grateful for all the things she does for the kids in our community.

Pediatric Place would like to announce the addition of Megan Higgins, M.D. to our staff. Dr. Higgins will join our team providing high quality pediatric healthcare starting April 13th!

Megan has been a pediatrician for 15 plus years, practicing in rural West Tennessee. She moved to Tennessee with her family during late elementary school and has been a resident ever since. She completed medical school at James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, in 2007 and pediatric residency at Lebonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2010. Megan and her husband, Michael, have four children, ranging from a sophomore in college to a third grader. She loves treating families within small communities and watching those children/families thrive and grow. She also loves watching sports in her community, especially if her children are playing.
