Easy 535x2, nothing to write home about but these have felt worse this far into a cycle so that's good.

If you can crush skills in practice but they don’t show up in games, that’s usually a sign your intensity, carryover, or true skill base is lacking.

Anyone can make a layup at 60% speed, alone, around cones. Ballers have to finish at 100% speed with a defender on their hip.

Anyone can hit a receiver standing still. The real ones hit that receiver at full sprint with a defense trying to take their head off.

Go harder. Replicate game situations.
But don’t skip the basics—master them first! I see players who go to "skill coaches" but then their mechanics are so TERRIBLE it leaves them without any chance of carrying it over dispite putting in reps.

Just a reminder:
This facility is a business, not a playground or a babysitting service. Only active clients are permitted beyond the entryway, and only during their scheduled, paid session time.

To provide full attention and quality coaching to those who are paying, sessions end when the scheduled time ends. At that point, clients are expected to exit the training areas.

If you are not the current client, please remain in the entryway and allow me to focus on the paying customers. The goal is to have a welcoming environment as long as it doesn't negatively effect other paying customers.

There’s a concept in business called marketing fatigue—when people are exposed to so much content and advertising that they stop paying attention.

In fitness, this shows up as constant class reminders that don’t build value, only noise. An oversaturated, under-regulated industry lets the bottom drag down the top, making it harder for true professionals to master their craft and make a living.

Remove the noise. Leave the professionals. People get healthier—for life.

I am so thankful for being able to separate myself with my quality that I am in my own industry entirely and everyone else is left fighting for whatever is left but not everyone has a town like Corry to build in!!!

I’ve made my living doing sports for 26 years—good enough to get paid in multiple sports, break all-time records, and win at every level—and I say that to qualify this plainly:
Sports are supposed to be hard, uncomfortable, and unfair by definition, because failure is the teacher and removing discomfort destroys the lesson.

Yet today sports are overrun by parents with no experience guarding kids from struggle, parents trying to relive their own failures by pushing too hard, kids who can’t handle criticism, kids who only compete when they know they’ll win, and kids who want the reward of winning without doing the work—none of which is development, it’s ego.

Sports are not a right but an earned privilege, and they taught me and will teach you to handle struggle with grace, fail forward, and pursue your best with ruthless intent. I used those to build a life where I can chase my own goals and help create greatness in the kids and community I live in.

Save sports by letting the hardship, grind and failure back into it and let it teach even if you don't like the lesson or how it's being taught.

Not all gyms are built the same.

Facilities that do things the right way don’t need generic photos or recycled stories.
They have daily proof—athletes they train, progress they measure, results they earn.

If a gym can’t show you their own work, that should tell you something before you ever sign up.

If you need help finding the right gym for you throw me a message and I can help you find the right place for you and as a training facility we don't have a horse in the race so it will be the right fit for you!
