The Waters of Union City provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation, long term care, hospice respite, and inpatient hospice care. We specialize in post acute care rehabilitation by offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. Our programs are dedicated to ensuring that our patients have a timely return to normal activities. A few of our specific programs include, Stroke Rehabilitation, Cardiac Rehabilitation, & Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Services Available:

Recently, our Administrator David Keeling went head-to-head with freshman basketball star Aubrii Ross in a free-throw showdown! Aubrii took the win with an impressive 31/50, while David was right behind with 30/50! 🏆

We’re thrilled to sponsor Aubrii and the Union City basketball team—wishing them an amazing season! 🙌 Fun fact: David played college basketball at Lambuth University, so he was pumped for this challenge and proud to still sink 30 free throws!

🌟 Please join us in congratulating our Star of the Week: Robert Brown! 🌟

After a challenging femur fracture, Robert was determined to regain his strength and independence — and his journey is a true testament to resilience, exceptional care, and the power of a supportive team.

Robert first learned about The Waters of Union City through glowing recommendations from hospital staff and the inpatient rehab center he consulted. Their endorsements gave him the confidence to choose us, and he now says entrusting The Waters was one of the best decisions he’s ever made. From the moment he arrived, Robert felt welcomed and cared for by a team fully dedicated to his success.

The nursing staff played a big part in his recovery and happiness. Nurses Jeff and Ryan filled his days with their fun personalities and compassionate care, and Robert especially praised his nurse Linda, calling her “the smartest and best nurse I have ever had!” In therapy, Grace, Nathan, and Joe consistently pushed him to do his best — and made each session enjoyable along the way.

Now, Robert is heading home stronger than ever, ready to enjoy more time with his partner Cindy and their grandson Elliot. Reflecting on his stay, Robert shares, “The entire staff here care so much about YOU!”

We are incredibly proud of Robert’s hard work and his successful completion of our In Motion Therapy program. Robert, it has been a joy to be part of your recovery and to get to know your wonderful family. Way to go, Robert! 🎉👏
