Last week at Union City Health and Rehabilitation, we brought the spirit of the Winter Olympics right to our residents! 🏅❄️

Our PT and OT teams partnered with Activities to host an exciting Olympic-themed event featuring a Snowball Toss and a fun Torch Relay using pool noodles. Residents showed off their strength, balance, coordination, and teamwork while cheering each other on like true champions!

It was more than just games — it was therapy in action, building endurance, improving mobility, and encouraging social engagement in a fun and festive way. The smiles, laughter, and friendly competition made it a gold-medal kind of day! 🥇

We are so proud of our residents and our amazing therapy and activities teams for making rehabilitation both meaningful and memorable!

💜💛💚 Mardi Gras Fun at Union City Health and Rehabilitation! 💚💛💜🎭🎶

Tuesday we celebrated Mardi Gras with a festive party full of music, laughter, and creativity! Our residents enjoyed decorating colorful masks, listening to lively tunes, and embracing the joyful spirit of the season.

Therapy even joined in on the fun! PT incorporated a bead toss and retrieval activity, turning skilled exercises into a Mardi Gras challenge. Residents worked on balance, coordination, reaching, bending, and activity tolerance — all while collecting beads and sharing plenty of smiles.

We love seeing our residents shine — beads, masks, and all! 💜💛💚

❤️ Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Day at Union City Health and Rehabilitation!

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with icing, sprinkles, and plenty of Valentine cheer. Activities like this support fine motor skills, social engagement, and of course — a little well-deserved treat. 🍪

The cookies were so good that most were eaten before we could even get pictures! That’s how you know it was a success! 👏
