DAY CLEANER POSITION
We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for professional cleaning technicians
who takes pride in their work, who has great communication skills
with customers and co-workers. If you have what it takes, we will hire and train you quickly.
As part of the AMS team, you will be responsible for cleaning for the health
and safety of a Military Base in Edison, NJ. As a cleaning technician,
you will receive on-the-job training with your assigned
team leader as needed. Although we have a dress code, it's casual yet
professional, and comfortable to wear over your normal clothing.
**ALL ARE REQUIRED TO BACKGROUND SECURITY CHECK.
Schedule: 2 days a week (approx. 4 hour/day) Additional time available for project work and watchman services as needed etc.
We will conduct interviews, accept applications electronically and these positions are in need IMMEDIATELY.
• Tuesday/Thursday – Flexible if needed
• First Shift (Day shift)
• Location: Army Command Center - Blackwood, NJ
• Prevailing wage of 19.02/hour

Tasks required to complete during a shift, but not limited to:
Job Duties:
• Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls. Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
• Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors.
• Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners. Discard trash in parking lot container daily.
• Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders.
• Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
• Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. and carry a 10 lbs. backpack vacuum cleaner as needed.
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Have reliable transportation
• Be reliable - must be able to show up to work on time each day
• Pass DETAILED SECURITY BACKGROUND check prior to starting
