If you wear contacts we suggest taking them out for your float to ensure no Epsom salt water irritates them. We don’t expect any water to get in your eyes but if you touch your face and some drips toward your eyes we would hate for your contacts/eyes to be bothered.

How often can you float? As often as you like. For each of us our float practice may be different as our lifestyle and needs may be different. We have had people float daily, weekly, monthly, or occasionally. We are happy to be a part of your self care journey no matter how often we see you :)

Floating during your pregnancy can help relieve the aches and pains associated with pregnancy, help relax your mind, strengthen your bond with your baby, and let you lay on your stomach (probably everyone’s fave part 😉) If you are wanting to float during your pregnancy we ask that you be out of your first trimester and get the okay from your doctor. After that you can float as far into your pregnancy as you feel comfortable getting in and out of the float tank ☺️

If you are planning on wearing earplugs we suggest putting them in prior to your pre float shower to really seal your ears. We suggest floating with earplugs as the water is right at ear level when laying in the float tank and then you don’t have to worry about water or salt bothering your inner ear.

Currently we have moldable earplugs but have been thinking of offering reusable earplugs as well. Would you like reusable earplugs?

When you are newer to floating remember you are in control of the lights both in the room and in the tank. If the thought of complete darkness makes you anxious try the light in the tank or dimming the room lights. You may need to try a few different options before finding your comfort zone with lighting during your float.
